Setup Guide
Get your microphone sounding professional in under 10 minutes.
- 1
Install Equalizer APO
Download Equalizer APO from SourceForge and install it. Pick your microphone as the capture device during install.
- 2
Drop the VST .dll into a VST folder
Create a folder like C:\VST and put your downloaded plugin .dll files inside. 64-bit Equalizer APO needs 64-bit plugins.
- 3
Open the Configurator
Launch the Configurator app, select your mic input, then click the green + and choose Plugins → VST plugin.
- 4
Chain plugins in order
A solid voice chain: RNNoise → TDR Nova (EQ) → DeesSer → TDR Kotelnikov (compression) → Loudness meter.
- 5
Save and test
Save config.txt. Open Voice Recorder or your favorite app — your mic should now sound clean and present.
